IH Mississippi Valley CU To Grant $21,000 In Scholarships

MOLINE, Ill. – IH Mississippi Valley CU announced it is offering 21 college scholarships valued at $1,000 each for the 2010-11 school year.

The scholarships will be allocated based on geographic areas the credit union serves. Quad-Cities members will be eligible for eight scholarships. Two scholarships will be allocated to members in each of the following communities: Abingdon, Galesburg, Monmouth and Prophetstown in Illinois, and DeWitt, Iowa.

Additionally, two scholarships will be allocated to spouses, children and grandchildren of credit union employees or board members, and one scholarship to current or incoming students of Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg.
