Jack Henry & Associates ushered in the new year with a deal to acquire National Bancorp Data Services, LLC., an item capture and check imaging processor for 14 banks. The deal calls for NBDS to retain its current Streamwood, Ill., offices with 18 employees. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. BDS serves banks in greater Chicago, southern Wisconsin and northern Indiana and had about $1.5 million in revenues for 2002.
