LANSING, Mich. – Lake Trust Credit Union, a $1.5-billion CU that is the result of a merger between Plymouth, Mich.-based Detroit Edison CU and Lansing-based NuUnion Credit Union, marked its first day of operations with receptions at each of its 22 branches with refreshments, special giveaways and the kick-off of a special auto loan promotion for the month of April.
“We appreciate our members and wanted to mark this special milestone in our history by celebrating with them,” said President William J. Thiess.
The merger made Lake Trust the fourth-largest credit union in Michigan with 155,000 members.
