NAFCU Identifies Top Priorities For New Year

ARLINGTON, Va. – NAFCU has released its Top 12 Priorities for 2012.

The list includes efforts to preserve CUs’ federal tax exemption, ensure a balanced chartering system and sound operation of the NCUSIF, pursue expanded MBL authority, lobby in Washington to reduce the regulatory burden, educate policymakers on the value of credit unions, mitigate the costs to CUs of the corporate stabilization expenses, and call for transparency from NCUA, among other priorities.
