WASHINGTON-NAFCU Services Corporation and Wildwood Capital Group have released a recording of a free webcast on regulatory issues and their impact on commercial real estate loan portfolios. PrimeSource CU Joins FSCC Shared
SAN DIMAS, Calif.-Officials at Financial Service Centers Cooperative, Inc. (FSCC), the nation's largest credit union Shared Branching Network, said PrimeSource Credit Union of Spokane, Wash., will join the network beginning in February.
In the Northwest alone, FSCC said, there are more than 560 Shared Branching locations, including 24/7 Vcom Kiosks at 7-Eleven stores.

CU 24 Renews 21 Contracts In Q4
TALAHASSEE, Fla.-Credit Union 24, the country's largest credit union-owned ATM and point-of-sale (POS) network, said 21 credit unions renewed long-term contracts with the network in Q4 2009, representing more than $2.8 billion in assets with more than 300,000 members. A total of 73 CUs renewed contracts with the network during 2009, representing more than $12.5 billion in assets and more than 1.3 million credit union members.

Lobby Management Features Offered
SAN FRANCISCO-Better Branches, a software and consulting CUSO, has upgraded its lobby management solution - Better Lobby - to help CUs cut branch staffing expenses. One of the key new Better Lobby features is Remote Lobby Manager, a tool that enables managers to oversee the activities of two or more branches from a remote location. Also new is a productivity feature that summarizes the time each employee spends on each member service activity.

Reg E Opt-In Total Solution Launched
HOUSTON-Pinnacle Financial Strategies said it has launched its Reg E Opt-In Total Solution. The company said the Opt-In Total Solution is a phased program designed to help CUs modify their overdraft programs to ensure full compliance with recent regulatory changes. As of July 1, the amendment will prohibit financial institutions from charging consumers fees for paying overdrafts on automated teller machine (ATM) and one-time debit card transactions, unless a consumer consents in advance, or "opts-in," to the overdraft service for those types of transactions.

Engage Summit 2010 Set For May
SALT LAKE CITY-Allegiance announced its annual user conference, Engage Summit 2010, will take place May 16-19. The company said more than 60% of the conference agenda consists of panels and presentations by Allegiance customers, who will share insights and experiences on improving Voice-of-the-Customer (VOC) and Voice-of-the-Employee (VOE) programs. Patelco Signs Up To Use FraudMAP
SAN FRANCISCO-Patelco CU said it has signed with Guardian Analytics to install the company's FraudMAP to defend against even the most sophisticated fraud attacks without impacting its members' online experience and without overburdening its security staff. TMGFS Tops $100 Million In Assets
DES MOINES, Iowa-With the purchase of six credit card portfolios, TMG Financial Services ended the year with $116 million in credit card receivables and 40,000 accounts. This represents a growth of more than 10 times during the past 12 months.
TMGFS purchased the final six credit card portfolios of 2009 from: Fitchburg FCU in Fitchburg, Mass.; United Financial CU, Saginaw, Mich.; 1st Financial FCU, Wentzville, Mo.; First Class CU, Des Moines, Iowa; Synergy One FCU, Manassas, Va.; and, Kohler CU, Kohler, Wis.

SWBC Purchases Cognasys
SAN ANTONIO-SWBC said it has purchased the technology of Cognasys LLC, a provider of artificial intelligence-based software solutions. SWBC said Cognasys is "well-known in the industry as the expert system solution for document process automation, will continue to grow with the strength of SWBC's capabilities behind it." SWBC, a Cognasys client for more than 4 years, depends on the Cognasys framework to process insurance documents, which are typically non-standard, template-less forms.
