Breached Cards Instantly Reissued
ENGLEWOOD, Colo.-Dynamic Card Solutions (DCS), a provider of instant card issuance and PIN selection solutions, reported its CardWizard software is being used to instantly reissue debit cards that have been exposed by the data breach at third-party merchant processor Heartland Payment Systems Inc. Among the CU clients affected was United Heritage CU, Austin, Texas; which has reissued 948 cards, 568 of which were instantly reissued at the branch. "Data breaches are challenging for all parties involved, but because United Heritage has the capability to reissue cards instantly, we have experienced a very positive response from our members," said Michael Ver Schuur, EVP/CFO at United Heritage.

WRG Says '08 Best Year Ever
PASADENA, Calif.-Wescom Resources Group, a provider of technology solutions for CUs, has just completed its best year, ending FY2008 with a 49% increase in revenue and 29% increase in net Income for the CUSO. During the year, WRG signed 14 new clients to its MemberEdge Online Banking platform, bringing to 47 the total of credit unions using WRG for their online banking system. WRG also launched a new offer: Merger Consulting, for Episys-based credit unions. Nine credit unions hired WRG's Merger Consulting team to assist them in their efforts in 2008.
