The Board, which regulates the 12 Federal Home Loan banks, is being phased out with its powers brought under a new agency, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which also regulates Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

"I’m looking forward to working with financial institutions and companies that work with financial institutions to help them through these difficult financial times," Bacino told The Credit Union Journal yesterday. He emphasized he would be working with financial institutions of all kinds, including credit unions.

Bacino and Associates will be located in and partner with the law firm of Washington-based Oldaker, Biden and Belair., of which Delaware Senator Joseph Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, is a founding partner.
