HARRISBURG, Penn. – Pennsylvania State Employees CU said yesterday it has signed with Firethorn Holdings, LLC to offer the company’s mobile banking platform to its members in 2010.

Using the Firethorn mobile banking service, as well as the PSECU-branded iPhone application, members of the $3 billion credit union will be able to check their balances, pay their bills, transfer funds and see account histories, all from their mobile device.
In addition to the mobile banking application, Firethorn's solution will provide credit union members with SMS, or text messaging, capabilities, giving them access to their financial account information through balance and transaction history requests.
Atlanta-based Firethorn is a unit of Qualcomm.
