WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. Piedmont Advantage CU will be giving away free $20 gas cards to the first 100 people who visit the credit union’s recently opened Wilmington branch Friday morning.

The promotion, aimed at celebrating the branch opening, also will include loan specials designed to give back to two area organizations. “For every auto loan we do during the designated times throughout the day, we will donate a percentage to the two designated charities,” said Judy Tharp, president of the $240-million credit union.
Members will receive 60 days with no payments on new or refinanced auto loans throughout the day.
