SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Postal Federal Community CU has changed its name to BluCurrent CU as part of a plan to reach out to a broader membership base.
“We’ve always struggled with the misconception that you had to be a postal or federal employee to use our credit union,” said Steve Pierson, president of the $130-million credit union.
The name change is part of the expansion of its field of membership, which now covers Greene, Christian, Stone, Taney, Howell, Jasper, Newton, Lawrence, Webster and Polk counties.
