PSCU Is Named CUSO of the Year

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Credit union service organization PSCU has received the CUSO of the Year Award from the National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO).

Criteria for the award included the applicants’ “thought leadership” within the credit union industry, the value of the CUSO to its members, and innovation in organizational design, implementation and execution.

The award was presented to Steve Salzer, SVP-legal and general counsel of PSCU, during the 2016 NACUSO Network Conference in Las Vegas last week.

Founded in 1977, PSCU is now owned by more than 800 credit unions and offers various payment products and services that enable credit unions of all sizes to compete with much larger national payments issuers. PSCU also more than 1,800 employees and services over 2 billion transactions annually.

“On behalf of our member-owner credit unions, employees and board, we are grateful and honored by this recognition,” said Chuck Fagan, PSCU’s president and CEO, in a statement. “Like NACUSO and its many partners, PSCU continues to work diligently to strengthen the credit union industry by serving as an extension of our Members’ staff, positioning them for growth and success.”
