HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Redstone FCU announced the formation of Redstone Consulting Group, LLC, for the purpose of offering business solutions to credit unions and banks.
RCG said its expertise in the development of lobby management and web services has allowed the credit union and its members to realize the value of real-time processing, such as its Mobile Remote Deposit Capture’s one-step process for registration, qualification and deposit posting. Redstone already has been selling applications in Open Solutions’ DNA Appstore.
“When we saw how much the software applications we developed here at Redstone were improving efficiencies and member service, we wanted to share them with other financial institutions, as well,” said Harry Gunsallus, president of Redstone Consulting Group, and senior vice president of Technology and operations support at the $3.3-billion credit union.
