FORT MILL, S.C. Sharonview Federal Credit Union has signed with Silanis Technology of Quebec to implement the company’s on-premise e-signing software.
Sharonview FCU said adding e-signatures to mortgage disclosure process is the just start of its commitment to straight-through processing.
“E-signatures make sense for us not only from a competitive standpoint but also to help us meet compliance requirements such as the 48-hour window to deliver mortgage disclosures. For that reason, we will be investing additionally to automate mortgage and other processes including member applications,” said Mark Johnson, chief information officer for the $1-billion credit union.
