SkyOne FCU Flies Higher By Absorbing Two Airlines CUs

HAWTHORNE, Calif. – SkyOne FCU, the former Civil Aeronautics Administration employees credit union, said it has agreed to acquire two smaller airline credit unions, Pacific Advantage FCU, which serves Japan Airlines, and Cypress West FCU, the credit union for Australia’s Quantas Airways.

The combined credit union will have assets of almost $350 million and serve 28,500 members.

The surviving credit union, SkyOne will be led by its current president and CEO, Eileen Rivera, and all employees of Pacific Advantage and Cypress West will be integrated into SkyOne’s workforce. The branches of both credit unions will continue to operate, giving SkyOne an expanded presence in San Francisco, California and Honolulu.
