Ent FCU Now Offering Free Financial Literacy Podcasts
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Ent FCU has developed and launched a free financial education podcast series on its website dedicated to giving its members more information on foreclosures, understanding credit reports and other financial subjects. The $2.5 billion credit union is currently working on podcasts addressing NCUA insurance and first-time home buying questions as well with the eventual goal of producing a new podcast every month.
"We felt it was important to develop podcasts to better reach a younger audience as well as provide those of all ages with fast, convenient information," Ent's director of marketing noted.

Desert Schools CU Launches New Interactive Website
PHOENIX-Desert Schools CU has given its website a total makeover, the $3.1-billion institution announced. The new interactive site took nearly two years to complete and included several cross-functional teams-from rewriting content to creating a fresh new design. Visitors will find additional details, benefits and resources in a new user-friendly format, the credit union said in a statement. The site includes an interactive timeline that allows visitors to take an in-depth look at Desert Schools' 70 year tradition in Arizona.
"Our site is different from other credit union Web sites because the design is open and less crowded," said a senior Web designer. "It's like a breath of fresh air."

Mobile Banking Catches On At CFE FCU In Florida
LAKE MARY, Fla.-More than 1,600 CFE Federal Credit Union members have signed up to use the $1.2-billion credit union's new mobile banking service in its first two months. The solution allows members to check balances, transfer funds, make bill payments and find a nearby ATM using virtually any mobile device. CFE FCU anticipates that about 4% of its members that also use online banking will partake in the free mobile banking service, which it says is the first of its kind in central Florida.
