Texas Exec Named CEO At South Florida Educational FCU

MIAMI South Florida Educational FCU has hired Mike DiBenedetto, executive vice president of administration at FirstLight FCU in El Paso, Texas, as president and CEO of the $800-million credit union.

DiBenedetto will succeed William Page, who has served South Florida Educational FCU for 30 years the last eight as CEO. Page is retiring the end of this month.

DiBenedetto has held the position of executive vice president at Dade County FCU and served as an NCUA examiner for nine years.

DiBenedetto was hired after a nationwide search conducted by O’Rourke & Associates.
