Participating schools will receive 15 cents every time an active Spirit Debit card is used to make a purchase. With more than 1,100 active card-carrying Spirit Debit cardholders, Texas Trust anticipates giving away $75,000 this school year to the schools enrolled in the program. Schools will receive a check each month for cardholders’ previous month’s purchases.

The Texas Trust Spirit Debit Rewards Card currently is available to members in the Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Cedar Hill and Athens school districts. Rewards can be designated for any one of 11 high schools in these districts.

Cardholders and schools can track the performance of the money being raised for their designated school on the Spirit Rewards Meter at www.ourspiritinaction.com. A Spirit Rewards video is also available on YouTube to help spread the word about the friendly spirit competition.
