Texas Trust CU Offers $155 For New Checking Accounts

MANSFIELD, Texas – Texas Trust CU is offering a cure for what it is calling the FEE Syndrome associated with large banks: a $155 payment when consumers open a Free & Flexible checking account.

The account is free of minimum balance requirements and provides free online bill paying, a free MasterCard debit card, free home banking – including home deposits – free Texas Trust ATM transactions, free e-statements, free 24/7 member service, and a free box of checks when the account is opened.

FEE Syndrome is Texas Trust’s term for the weariness consumers feel in the face of the irritating and ever-growing number of fees that their financial institutions are imposing or increasing. FEE stands for Feeling the Effects of the Economy, and the credit union said the prescription is simple: change where you bank.

Free & Flexible account holders also earn more free benefits through Texas Trust’s relationship services. The more services they use, the more benefits they receive.

The $155 FEE Syndrome offer is available through the end of this year at any of Texas Trust’s eight branches.
