Two Oregon CUs Exploring Merger

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Northwest Community CU and Mid Oregon FCU in Bend have announced plans to merge.

The credit unions cited product and service expansion and branch expansion in pursuing the merger. Both credit unions said they are financially sound.

Northwest Community, with $650 million in assets, would be the surviving charter. Mid Oregon has $138 million in assets.
