TUCSON, Ariz. — Vantage West Credit Union is acquiring Tombstone FCU.

The merger is effective May 1, when the $1.3 billion Vantage West absorbs the one-office, $8.2 million Tombstone and its 2,000 members.
"As we continue to expand our services throughout Southern Arizona, we are excited for the opportunity to bring our wide array of personal and business financial services to Tombstone and the rest of Cochise County," said Vantage West CEO Robert Ramirez in a published report.
TFCU, based in Tombstone, Ariz., will convert to VWCU's data processing system July 1.
