Gosnell named CIO At CMG

MADISON, Wis.-Tom Gosnell has been named Chief Information Officer of CUNA Mutual Group. He succeeds SVP Rick Roy, who is now leading the reinvention of CUNA Mutual's Customer Operations organization. Gosnell brings 22 years of business and technology experience to his new role, joining the company from Accenture in New York, where he was employed for 11 years and achieved partner status.

OCTFCU Donates $250K

SANTA ANA, Calif.-Orange County Teachers FCU has made a $250,000 donation to help underwrite "Biz Kids," a new half-hour Public Broadcasting System television series about kids, money and business. The show is a collaborative partnership with Junior Achievement Worldwide and is being supported by credit unions across the nation. The "Biz Kids" show will be produced by the Emmy Award winning producers of "Bill Nye The Science Guy."

RBFCU Has Fundraising Challenge

LIVE OAK, Texas-Randolph-Brooks FCU has made a $100,000 contribution to the Fisher House Foundation and is also challenging the community to raise at least $200,000 more, which RBFCU said it will match. Fisher Houses provide residences for the families of members of the military who are receiving extended treatment for a serious illness or lengthy therapy. In San Antonio, there are five Fisher Houses, with two more under construction at and are expected to open in January 2007 in conjunction with a new rehabilitation hospital.
