WOODLAND, Calif. – Yolo Federal Credit Union has received $350,000 from the Federal Home Loan Bank’s Workforce Initiative Subsidy for Homeownership Program (WISH) to provide down payment assistance for homebuyers.
Qualified buyers can get up to $15,000 in down payment or closing cost assistance. Yolo FCU is working with the Home Loan Counseling Center and Yolo County to match eligible buyers with the program, and also works with several other counties and programs.
Markets are still pricing in an increase in the federal funds rate later this month, but Federal Reserve Gov. Michael Barr said his vote will depend on incoming unemployment and inflation data.
