BNY Mellon Unit Gets Outsourcing Deal

BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, a Boston unit of Bank of New York Mellon Corp. that provides securities servicing, announced Monday that it will supply outsourcing support to managed accounts covering more than $200 million in client assets at Mesirow Financial, a Chicago financial services firm.

The unit's services are to include account opening and maintenance, transaction support, custodian reconciliation and performance measurement.

It began providing investment manager outsourcing services to Mesirow in November.

Mesirow had $31.7 billion of assets under management on June 30.

Bank of New York Mellon had $20.7 trillion of assets under custody and administration, including $926 billion under management, on June 30.
