Brown & Brown Inc., a Daytona Beach, Fla., insurer, has announced the purchase of Alexander & Bolton Inc., an Alexandria, La., insurance agency.
With annualized revenues of about $1.3 million at Nov. 30, Alexander & Bolton focuses on property and casualty, as well as health and life, coverage for people and businesses in Louisiana, the company said Wednesday.
Brown & Brown has Louisiana offices in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Lockport.
The Florida company offers a range of insurance and reinsurance products and services, as well as risk management, third-party administration, managed health care, and Medicare set-aside services and programs.
