Deutsche Unit Hires Texas Exec

Deutsche Bank's private wealth management office in Houston has hired John T. McCauley, one of UBS Financial Services' top veteran managers, according to a statement from Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown.

McCauley, who had been part of the UBS group for 20 years according to Finra filings, is the new regional executive and managing director for Deutsche's Houston operation.

Before joining Deutsche Bank, the company said on Monday, McCauley's most recent title was national head of talent management for private wealth management at UBS; he worked in its Dallas office.

In addition, he fulfilled duties under the same title at a satellite office in Nashville. He also previously was managing director of the UBS private wealth management office in Houston.

In his new role, McCauley will supervise the overall performance and growth of everyday activities at the Houston branch. "He will focus on the development and cultivation of relationships within the high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client segments," Deutsche Bank said in a statement.

McCauley holds the certified financial planner designation. Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown is the private-client services division of Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., which, in turn, is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG.
