Emprise Financial Corp., Wichita, Kan., and its Emprise Bank have hired Dennis Schamber, David L. Walter, and Janis Evenson.
Mr. Schamber became vice president of retail lending. He will oversee training, loan production, and loan quality in the division. He was regional marketing director at Bankline in Lenexa, Kan.
Mr. Walter is vice president and controller of Emprise Financial and will manage the accounting departments for its banks. He was treasurer, controller, and a vice president of Mid-Continent Federal Savings Bank, El Dorado, Kan.
Ms. Evenson was hired as an assistant vice president and information technology services manager of Emprise Bank. She had managed the in-house data processing division at Eureka Federal Savings and Loan.
Emprise also promoted Jeffrey W. Ashford, Chad A. Conover, and Ava Majors.
Mr. Ashford became an assistant vice president, special lending officer, and credit card manager of Emprise Bank. He had been manager of the Westway branch.
Mr. Conover, who succeeded Mr. Ashford, was promoted to assistant vice president. Mr. Conover was the assistant manager of the Westway branch.
Ms. Majors, also an assistant manager, was named assistant vice president and manager of Emprise Bank South.
