Gamco Investors Inc. of Rye, N.Y., said Tuesday that it promoted Kevin V. Dreyer to associate portfolio manager of the Gabelli Asset Fund, an open-ended fund managed by Gabelli Funds LLC.
Dreyer joins Mario J. Gabelli, who has been the fund's sole portfolio manager since its launch in 1986. Dreyer has worked for Gabelli as a research analyst since graduating from Columbia University Business School. Before that he worked for Banc of America Securities.
Gamco, which had $21.4 billion of assets under management at June 30, manages private advisory accounts, mutual funds and closed-end funds and partnerships and offshore funds.
