Geneos Wealth Management Inc. of Denver, a broker-dealer that serves financial advisers, said it has agreed to buy Portfolio Design Advisors LLC, an investment management firm in Seal Beach, Calif.
Portfolio Design Advisors sponsors Select One, a fee-based program that uses asset allocation, strategic timing, and sector rotation to structure portfolio models. The program has $150 million of client assets under management.
The deal was announced Tuesday and is set to close this month.
