1st MidAmerica Credit Union has agreed to acquire Alton Area Employees Federal Credit Union in Illinois.
Formerly known as Olin Community Credit Union, 1st MidAmerica has $450 million of assets. The credit union, in Bethalto, Ill., has six branches.
Alton Area has $5 million of assets and one branch.
