Rydex Investments announced a family of nine exchange-traded funds Tuesday.
The funds are based on the S&P Equal Weight Sector indexes and trade on the American Stock Exchange. They "seek to provide investors with full exposure" to the consumer discretionary, consumer staples, energy, financial services, health-care, industrial, basic materials, technology, and utilities sectors, Rydex said.
Rydex, of Rockville, Md., now offers 24 exchange-traded funds. It had $3 billion of exchange-traded fund assets under management on Sept. 30.
