In Brief: AIG Units Launch Bilingual Customer Services Call Center

Two life insurance units of American International Group Inc. have launched a bilingual customer services call center for Hispanic individual life insurance policyholders.

American General Life Insurance Co. and The United States Life Insurance Co. introduced the call center to answer questions and assist with service requests on their individual life insurance, including universal life, term life and whole life, and individual supplemental health insurance policies.

Callers to the Houston bilingual call center will have access to information on policy features, coverage, billing inquiries, value quotes and disbursements, and claims.

AIG, which introduced the bilingual call center Monday, is a leading global insurance and financial services provider with operations in more than 130 countries.
