Allfinanz Inc., a supplier of automated underwriting and business processing software for the life insurance industry, said it has hired Michael Scunziano to be vice president of sales, North America.
In the post Mr. Scunziano is to head Allfinanz's North American operation that is focused on the sale and servicing of expertBridge, a Web-based, automated underwriting and new-business processing platform, the company said on Monday. Allfinanz, which has offices in New York, London, and Dublin, offers life insurers a way to significantly reduce the time and cost of acquiring business.
Mr. Scunziano previously was the vice president of e-commerce and information technology at Conseco, where he spearheaded an effort to sell insurance products online while also giving the company's independent agents one of the industry's first agent portals.
