Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., an Itasca, Ill., insurance broker, has acquired Adams & Associates International Ltd., a retail insurance broker based in Columbia, S.C.
Gallagher has operations in seven countries and does business in 120 countries through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants. It offers property/casualty, accident, and medical insurance programs and related services.
It announced the acquisition Nov. 21. The price was not disclosed.
