Axa Financial Inc. of New York promoted Richard Dziadzio from deputy chief financial officer to chief financial officer.

Mr. Dziadzio was hired by the French parent company, Axa Group Inc., as a senior analyst in its corporate finance department in Paris, in 1996. He joined Axa Financial, a global life insurer, in July 2004 and was named executive vice president of Axa Equitable Life Insurance Co. that September.
He became executive vice president and deputy CFO of Axa Financial and Axa Equitable in September 2005. He is also a member of the company's executive management committee.
Axa Financial, which announced Mr. Dziadzio's promotion Tuesday, had $643.4 billion of assets under management at the end of 2005.
