In Brief: Axa Hires Annuities Exec from Lincoln

Axa Distributors LLC has hired an executive from Lincoln Financial Group to expand sales of annuities to financial planners.

The New York unit of Axa Financial Inc. announced Tuesday that it had hired Kirby John Noel as a senior vice president and national sales manager for its financial planner channel.

Mr. Noel was the Western sales manager for the broker-dealer channel at Lincoln Financial Distributors. Before that he had been the Eastern sales manager for Lincoln's American Legacy products. He joined Lincoln Financial as an external wholesaler.
