Bisys Alternative Investment Services announced Thursday that it has hired Patrick Prill as an executive vice president.

Mr. Prill oversees hedge fund administration in New Jersey, the Cayman Islands, and San Francisco from the company's Roseland, N.J., headquarters.
He was the chief information officer for Soros Fund Management LLC's hedge fund and private-equity businesses.
The Bisys Group Inc. unit provides administrative, accounting, and tax services for the hedge fund and private-equity industry. It was managing $225 billion of assets on Sept. 30.
