CitiStreet in Quincy, Mass., said Tuesday that it has started offering an online tool that lets retirement plan participants create personalized financial e-curriculums.
Filling out a questionnaire that helps reveal the participant's level of financial knowledge and areas of interest primes a computer-generated program that can set up a curriculum of information on retirement issues, investing, and personal finance.
The online tool draws from a CitiStreet library of more than 150 retirement, investing, and personal finance articles in print, video, and audio presentations. It also gives a regular market outlook and a selection of the educational articles in Spanish.
The retirement plan participants who want to select their own curriculum, rather than have one generated by computer, can do so by going to a menu and clicking on items of interest in the categories of retirement, investing, and personal finance. (The latter addresses topics such as mortgages and taxes.)
