CNA Financial Corp. announced the hiring of Larry Illion to be the senior vice president of CNA Small Business, a $650 million operation.
Before joining CNA in Chicago, Mr. Illion worked at Travelers Insurance Co. as president and chief executive of its select accounts division, CNA said on Monday.
CNA Small Business' offerings include a transaction-based Web site that lets agents quote and issue policies online, a sales and service center that serves small-business accounts on behalf of agents, and a small-business program that develops and supports partnerships with agents in profitable program segments.
The Chicago company's insurance products include standard commercial lines, specialty lines, surety, marine, and other property and casualty coverages.
