Commerce Banc Insurance Services, a subsidiary of Commerce Bancorp Inc. of Cherry Hill, N.J., hired James M. Hanrahan the vice president of large accounts.

Mr. Hanrahan, whose hiring was announced Thursday, also will be the market manager for new business development for southern New Jersey and southeastern Pennsylvania.
He was a senior vice president for ECBM Insurance Brokers and Consultants. Commerce Banc Insurance Services has 13 offices and an annual premium volume of nearly $1 billion.
