Credit Suisse announced Tuesday that it has hired Jeffrey Halpern to head market risk management for multimanager portfolios for alternative investments.
Mr. Halpern joins the New York company from, Moore Capital Management, also of New York.
As Moore Capital's head of risk management, he developed processes to support the introduction of hedge fund strategies and instituted the firm's first concentration risk limits.
Before joining Moore Capital, Mr. Halpern was a vice president for AIG Trading Group in Greenwich, Conn.
