Deutsche Bank AG has hired Michael J. Davis to be a managing director and West Coast regional market manager in its U.S. private wealth management group.

Mr. Davis, who will be based in Los Angeles, was a managing director and global market manager for the western United States at Citigroup Inc.'s private bank. Before joining Citi he had been a senior vice president at Bank of America Corp.'s private bank in southern California.
In his new job he will oversee the private wealth management group's San Francisco, Orange County, and Los Angeles offices. He will manage sales strategy, recruitment, and marketing initiatives for the region.
Deutsche announced the hiring Thursday.
