Dwight Asset Management, a unit of Old Mutual PLC that specializes in fixed-income management, said Tuesday that it had promoted Jeff Norris to chief operating officer.
The Burlington, Va., investment adviser firm, which managed $42 billion at June 30, said Mr. Norris will oversee its day-to-day operations. He succeeds Laura Dagan, Dwight's president and chief executive officer, who also was chief operating officer.
Mr. Norris joined Dwight in 2001 as a senior vice president. He had worked 21 years at Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in a variety of posts, most recently as vice president of retirement and savings.
