In Brief: Fannie Mae Names Technology Executive

named Andrew D. Weiss senior vice president for advanced business and technology engineering. Barry Zigas was appointed senior vice president for housing impact. Eight vice presidents were also named. Mr. Weiss will be responsible for the company's technology, including the data warehouse, software engineering, business process consulting, data resource management, and business and technology solutions facilitation. Mr. Zigas will supervise the development, marketing, and overall management of various housing impact products, such as the company's new reverse mortgages. He will also continue to supervise the analyses that guide the development of the company's affordable housing efforts, oversee corporate and regulatory reporting pertaining to the company's affordable housing goals, and help formulate housing impact strategies.
