Great Southern Bank of Reeds Spring, Mo., announced is now offering health savings accounts.

Eligible customers can open an HSA with as little as $25 at any Great Southern branch throughout central and southwest Missouri, the bank said Thursday. Its holding company is the $2 billion-asset Great Southern Bancorp Inc. of Springfield, Mo.

Health savings accounts are designed to help people with high-deductible health plans save for qualified medical expenses on a tax-advantaged basis.
