Citizens and Hanover Insurance Cos. named Robin Nicks president of Hanover Insurance Co.'s southern region on Wednesday.

Ms. Nicks now is running the Atlanta; Dallas; New Orleans; Richmond, Va.; and Tulsa, Okla., offices, the company said. She is responsible for all aspects of commercial and personal lines distribution, marketing, and sales in the South.
Ms. Nicks joined Citizens and Hanover last June as regional vice president for the Dallas, New Orleans, and Tulsa offices. She came to the company from St. Paul Travelers, where she was a vice president of the south-central region.
