Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. has created a team to target clients with more than $25 million of liquid assets.
The Connecticut insurer announced Monday that the private-wealth management team will include life insurance planning, underwriting, and service professionals. A group of private-wealth management professionals are to provide special services to support financial professionals and their ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Hartford has six private-wealth management consultants and expects to expand the total to 10 next year. They are supported by the company's estate and business planning department, which specializes in strategies for wealthy clients.
The insurer had $27.1 billion of revenue last year.
