Lincoln National Corp. promoted Terry Mullen to president of its distribution arm.

Mr. Mullen was senior vice president of sales for Lincoln Financial Distributors. He will oversee sales, relationship management, marketing, advanced sales support and specialty markets, and finance, the Philadelphia company said Wednesday.
Previously, he managed internal and external sales for the distribution arm's wholesale operations. Before joining Lincoln National he had been the senior vice president and national sales manager for AIG SunAmerica.
