MassMutual Retirement Services in Springfield, Mass., said Tuesday that it has published a guide to fiduciary responsibility to help employers better understand and fulfill their duties as retirement plan fiduciaries.
The guide, "Helping You Fulfill Your Fiduciary Duties," includes summaries of plan sponsors' fiduciary roles and responsibilities, templates and forms that sponsors can customize to their own plans, and a summary of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act provisions governing fiduciaries.
The guide is available in both print and electronic forms and is accessible through MassMutual's total retirement center, an online plan information and service site for MassMutual's plan sponsors. Sponsors can download the fiduciary guide's forms at the site, use the templates and other information, and customize the documents to their plans.
