MFS Investment Management said it has added its MFS International Diversification Fund to the menu of funds available in its 529 college savings plan portfolio.
The Boston company administers the broker-sold MFS 529 Savings Plan sponsored by the state of Oregon and participates in nearly a dozen other 529 plans, it said on Wednesday.
MFS International Diversification Fund is a portfolio of MFS international stock funds. It is made up entirely of international stocks diversified through five equity strategies and periodically rebalanced. The fund is made up of international growth and value, small and large capitalization, and emerging market stocks.
The mutual fund company managed $134 billion of assets on behalf of 5.4 million individual and institutional investors worldwide at Sept. 30.
