Fidelity Investments introduced a program that partners the Boston fund company's wealthy customers with independent advisers.
The Wealth Advisor Solutions program is an expansion of Fidelity's wealth management services for high-net-worth customers, the company said Thursday.
The program is designed for customers who want services from fee-based advisers, as well as investment advice and access to a range of investment products and services.
The program, which will be integrated into Fidelity's consumer marketing efforts, builds on the nationwide Fidelity Advisor Access program. Wealth Advisor Solutions initially will be available in San Francisco, Chicago, and New England, and a full-scale rollout scheduled for next year.
Fidelity had $1.3 trillion of assets under management on Oct. 31.
